After you press the power switch onto your computer, it boots up from its internal hard disk drive, wherever your operating system (usually Windows or macOS) is stored. But sometimes you want as well to something different. Maybe you need to boot up from your Windows setup disc to reinstall Windows, or perhaps you need to boot up from the system saving disk to solve a problem with your machine. You may only desire to conduct another operating system onto your computer.
